Dr. Bill Allan

Director

Rev. Dr. Bill Allan became President of the Associated Gospel Churches in June 2018. Prior to this, Bill and his wife, Michele, served with World Team from 1990 to 2018 in various roles, beginning as church planters in Peru among the Naparuna Quechua people in the Peruvian Amazon region. They also served in the capital city of Lima in church planting and leadership development. While in Lima, Bill was an adjunct professor of Missiology and Leadership at the Lima Evangelical Seminary. Bill served as the Peru Field Director and later as the South America Ministries Director before being appointed as the Executive Director of World Team in Canada.

Before leaving for Peru, Bill was a pastoral intern at Grace Church in Newmarket, Ontario. Over the years, he was involved in local church ministry, preaching and teaching, and was an adult Sunday school teacher, adult small group leader, and Elder. In

addition, he was involved in men’s, family, and outreach ministries.

Bill is a graduate of Prairie Bible College, Three Hills, Alberta, and Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana, and holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University, Columbia, SC. He also attended the Toronto Institute of Linguistics and the Instituto de Lengua Española in San José, Costa Rica,

Bill and his wife, Michele, were members of Grace Church, Newmarket, ON, for over 30 years and now attend The Rock Bible Church in Woodstock, ON. They reside in Brantford, ON, and have three married daughters and ten grandchildren, with two new ones expected in early 2026.
